Boy’s Life
Robert McCammon
There was a reason my bookstore sold hundreds of these every
season.
Required reading, maybe, but the teenagers loved it. It’s 24
years since I first read it. I had forgotten about Boy’s Life. Last
week, though, I stumbled across it. A young boy , a southern town, and an
unsolved murder. A river monster, prehistoric beast, Nazis, the KKK. When I
talk about it, eyebrows arch. Really? All that in one book?
Yes, and it all makes beautiful sense.
